INNOVARIA has developed a production of components using the K65 alloy, a solution for high-pressure piping systems and the construction of heat exchangers that employ CO2, an environmentally friendly and natural refrigerant.
The K65 brand and logo are used under license from Wieland-Werke AG, Germany.

In refrigeration, particularly in the field of supermarket refrigeration systems, environmental-friendly concepts are increasingly being implemented, where the modern and ecological natural refrigerant CO2 is used, leading to high operating pressures for these systems.

For these applications, the new K65 pipe system is available.

The products are made with high-strength Wieland copper alloy tubes, which have already been successfully used in electrical engineering and the automotive industry. The K65 product enables cost savings in the installation of refrigeration systems with operating pressures of up to 120 bar.

APPLICATIONS

High-pressure piping systems, particularly with CO2 refrigerant. Additional supports can be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Proven joining technology: brazing instead of welding! It has excellent processing properties that are similar to those of copper.

SAFETY

Safety is guaranteed by the manufacturer. Tubes produced by Wieland are covered by a warranty that includes CO2 applications up to 120 bar.

EASY TO IDENTIFY EVEN AFTER INSTALLATION

K65 pipes are appropriately marked so that system components can be clearly identified at all times. Additionally, the material is slightly magnetic and can be easily distinguished from copper by checking with a strong magnet, providing another useful, practical advantage.

COST-EFFECTIVE

The main advantage is the mechanical strength of K65. Due to the high material strength, the K65 product line for 120 bar can be made with relatively thin walls. Considering the weight of K65 pipes, there is not only significant material savings but also easier handling, for example, when installing pipes on ceilings.
